Deon Vanterpool has been with Bank of Asia since Sept 2017. He has over a decade worth of executive success expanding organisations. He specializes in strategic operations as well as generating and managing wealth within international corporations and government agencies. Mr. Vantepool has provided guidance, training, and planning for companies across various industries around the world in every phase of business development, human resources planning, project management and financial planning.
Prior to joining Bank of Asia, Mr. Vanterpool managed cash flow and budget planning for the British Virgin Islands Government, executing projects for the Financial Secretary, preparing budgets for legislature approval, and integrating new tax and customs systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. At ATKearney Consulting, he provided an international perspective to research and implemented cutting-edge solutions for multi-national organizations.
He became the CEO of a major regional company, ultimately re-engineering software development, expansion and execution of a public offering. Mr. Vanterpool served as a Professor in Small Business Management and Information Systems Management at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College in the BVI and has served on several boards such as Trust Fund Scholarship Board.
Mr. Vanterpool holds an M.B.A. from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, a B.A. in Finance from Morehouse and an ICA International Diploma in Governance Risk and Compliance. He is SPHR Qualified in human resources and has studied in Germany, South Korea, and University of Sao Paulo in Brazil, interned with Chase Securities on Wall Street and with BVI Financial Services Commission.
